“Revival is a return to relevance” Tsovet

Time pieces are one of the few male accessories that are available in such varieties that it reaches out to all tastes and styles, making it the most desired accessory within the menswear sector. A watch is a very personal piece, it can say a lot about who you are and what your lifestyle is, it’s something that you ponder about for awhile before making that final decision. Every man needs at least one watch (if not more) which is going to see you through the seasons and easily adapt to whatever you’re wearing. We recently picked up an exciting new watch brand which is simple in style but has the quality that’s always a must when it comes to time pieces, introducing TSOVET.

Born in California back in 2008, Tsovet takes it’s inspiration from aeronautical and nautical engineering, learning from their functionality, styling, practicality and lasting durability. They say that the huge aerospace industry in California has really challenged them to find new and innovative ways to create better watches, using the outlines and typography most commonly seen in vehicles and planes. Within the collection you can see that they’ve taken the silhouettes of older pieces and reinvented them with the modern qualities we now look for. The clear and readable faces are taken from the gauges and dials typically seen in aircrafts and vintage cars, it not only looks great but it also incorporates the aesthetics of some of our favourite things.

TSOVET watches may be designed in the US but are made with the highest quality in the watch-making centre of the world, Switzerland. As soon as you can see a watch has been made in Switzerland a sense a relief is always felt, knowing that it’s been made in the country that birthed the likes of Tag Heuer, Rolex and even Roger Federer, just brings you comfort that you’re onto a high quality piece. Italian rubber and leather are used for many of the bands insuring comfort and quality, even Aero grade 316L stainless steel is used to make the pieces ultra durable. Tsovet are not willing to compromise on quality and even offer a lifetime battery replacement service, along with a 1 year warranty on all their watches.

If you don’t want a clunky, fussy and eye wateringly expensive accessory, Tsovet is definitely going to float your boat. The bold lines and clear dials make them simple yet stylish pieces that you’ll easily integrate into your wardrobe. The utilitarian functionality that even stretches out to the aircraft tail number-like product names, is something that has become a very popular trait within the fashion industry especially since the rise of the Scandinavian brands who first introduced the minimalistic style to us. This season we’ve bought in 3 different designs varying in style from a traditional face with leather band to the more contemporary and active shape with a rubber strap. Both are waterproof and vary from 50 to 200 metres in depth rating (just incase you fancy going for a dive), qualities which are essential to our every day life. Tsovet seem to have everything that we need from a watch and after a glowing review from the Esquire Blog, they’re definitely going to be one to watch…(no pun intended)
